Four days in Niagara on the Lake with my beautiful cousins. Reflecting on our wonderful wine tastings, adventures e-biking and paddle boarding, dancing in the moonlight, incredible views and having the very best time. ❤️🌙
On our way to Niagara’s wine country from Toronto we stopped at the prettiest greenhouse for lunch. The Watering Can Flower Market located in Vineland is a European inspired shop bursting with plants and flowers and the coolest floral installations.

Next we checked in at our home base for the weekend in Niagara on the Lake. We stayed at the lovely Harbour House by the water in Niagara on the Lake. It was so pretty with nice marina views from our corner room window (request room #211 for this view).

And the wine tour is on!
Our first wine stop was Big Head Wines which came highly recommended by everyone (seriously!) and became one of our favourites.
A wine tasting with a pizza dinner at Ravine Vineyard Wines was the perfect wine down for day one of our Niagara wine tour. Our lovely server, Joanna, recommended the Rosé and the Reserve Red to accompany the winery’s famous wood oven-fired pizza.

I should note that we used Uber for most of our wine-touring adventures with the exception of Day 2. Uber was generally easy to use in the area but Ravine Vineyards is about a 15-minute drive outside of Niagara on the Lake and here we are waiting over 30 minutes for a ride. A lesson learned for us was to reserve an Uber pickup in the evenings or hire a private driver.

The next day as we switched our mode of transportation to e-bikes! We had the best day on a guided tour with Tour de Vine stopping at three wineries and a picnic lunch along the Niagara River Parkway. The Parkway has an awesome bicycle path with views of the Niagara River, wineries and stunning real estate.

First stop on our ebike tour was Caroline Cellars Family Estate Winery.

We had a magical wine tasting at Reif Estate Winery.
And a scenic wine tasting at Riverview Vineyards.

We found a tractor along the way at Joseph’s Vineyards…

We may have saved the best for the last. On day three we spent our whole afternoon as the Two Sisters Vineyards. We arrived early and enjoyed a Rosé in the vineyards before lunch and a tasting. Don’t miss a visit to this winery, I highly recommend. #mywineplaylistapproved

There is so much more in Niagara on the Lake than wine. A private paddle-boarding experience with Tim Bala, the owner of Paddle Niagara, was one of the highlights of our weekend! I highly recommend making time for this if you are in Niagara on the Lake this summer.

Our last day in Niagara on the Lake took us to the Oast House a local craft brewery serving beers in a big red barn.

Cheers to Strawberry Rhubarb Ale (so good!), a Brushfire Smoke BBQ lunch and an awesome visit with my Uncle who joined us for the day.

“A good time occurs precisely when we lose track of what time it is”
This quote accurately sums up a wonderful Niagara wine tour with my beautiful cousins. We got lost in time and the moments. We created memories that will last a lifetime. And I came home with some fabulous bottles of wine. Until next time, Niagara on the Lake.
